Your battery has been partially charged at the factory, but you may need to recharge it before you can switch on your phone for the first time.

  1. If the phone needs recharging:

First connect the charger to the wall outlet, then to the charger connector in your phone. With the front of the phone facing you, the charger connector is, from left to right on the top edge, the third item.
  2. When the battery is full:

Disconnect the charger from the phone, then from the wall outlet.

You do not need to charge the battery for a specific length of time, and you can use the phone while it is charging.

If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator is displayed or before any calls can be made.

Tip:

You can also use a compatible USB charger to charge your battery.

First connect the USB charger to the wall outlet, and then to the micro-USB connector in your phone. With the front of the phone facing you, the micro-USB connector is, from left to right on the top edge, the second item.
